In continuation of our partnership with Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF), each copy of “Passport to the 14ers of Colorado” now contains a preprinted renewable energy certificate, or Mini-Green Tag! Each Mini-Green Tag represents a purchase by Adventure Passports of 100 kilowatts of renewable energy from BEF; that’s the equivalent of the fossil fuels used on a 150 mile drive from Denver to a climb of Mt Elbert. It’s a small step to do our part in reducing the effects of global warming and dependence on foreign oil.
You’ll also notice new rounded corners for increased durability, as well as a “Principles of Leave No Trace” page as a result of our continuing partnership and support of this outstanding Colorado foundation.
